Each year Athena San Diego conducts a member survey to monitor the progress of executive women and the programs that support them in the San Diego technology, life science, and business communities.

The goal of the survey is to help San Diego companies in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in the work force.

Since its inception in 2001, the annual Athena San Diego survey has stimulated discussion in the local business community about the progress women have made in achieving leadership roles and raised awareness of remaining barriers to advancement.

Results of the annual survey are presented first to Athena San Diego members at a Signature Series event and then made available to the business community and public at large.
