Our Board of Directors

Brenda Gebler has over 20 years experience in general management and business operations. Currently Vice President of Housing and Benefit Operations for AMN Healthcare, Inc., Ms. Gebler has responsibility for the housing logistics, health & welfare planning for thousands of healthcare professionals on short- and long-term travel assignments around the country.

Previously, Ms. Gebler was responsible for Executive Operations and North American Product Delivery for a start-up product line at Peregrine Systems, Inc. Prior to Peregrine she was responsible for New Business Ventures and Worldwide Customer Services at Encad/Kodak where she also developed a plan to remanufacture wide-format digital imaging products for resale to emerging markets. She also crafted a custom mentoring program for high impact employees.

Ms. Gebler is a former Vice President & General Manager for the Gartner Group where she had worldwide responsibility for global team operations for 80 educational conferences in 30 countries annually. She was responsible for driving business in emerging markets including China, Eastern Europe and Latin America.

Before joining Gartner, Ms Gebler ran an exposition and educational conference development and consulting business based in New England. She has a degree in English from the University of Massachusetts.

Presently, Ms. Gebler is President of the Athena San Diego Foundation. She was honored with Athena’s 2008 President’s Award and the 2009 Pinnacle Award for an Individual in Life Sciences.
