Our Board of Directors

Ms. Garsson has over 20 years experience in general management and business operations. Currently Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at SAIC, Ms. Garsson is developing a formalized corporate responsibility function to strategically align company-wide employee engagement, community outreach and environmental sustainability initiatives with business objectives. Her background includes significant change management, strategic system enhancement and operations management.
Previously, Ms. Garsson was Vice President of Stock Programs at SAIC where she was responsible for the Company’s in-house transfer agent and broad-based stock plan administration functions. Deeply involved in the management and continual modification of the custom built software system that SAIC’s 43,000 shareholders utilized to perform their stock transactions, Ms. Garsson interfaced with all levels of technical, functional and managerial staff in the execution of her duties, which included responding to regulatory audits and compliance requirements.
In addition to this role, Ms. Garsson also served as president and board member of the fully registered broker/dealer subsidiary that traded SAIC stock prior to the Company going public. In this capacity, she held NASD Series 7, 63, 24 and 27 broker licenses. In 2006, Ms. Garsson performed a key role in SAIC’s IPO, as well as the outsourcing of SAIC’s transfer agent and stock plan administration functions which preceded this event.
In addition to her involvement with several professional
and philanthropic organizations, Ms. Garsson was the recipient of YWCA's
TWIN (Tribute to Women and Industry) Award in 2006. Ms. Garsson received
her bachelor’s degree in Management Science from the University
of California, San Diego and her MBA from the University of San Diego.
